Roberts Projects is a contemporary art gallery located in Culver City that predominantly exhibits site-specific installations by both emerging and internationally renowned artists. We are looking for an intern for the duration of the Fall Semester in addition to the Spring Semester.
Internship applicants should be a Major or Minor in Art History, with an interest in Contemporary Art. We require that the applicant receive course credit, as the internship is unpaid. However, we do offer a $25 per diem per day.
Intern responsibilities include general artist research, assisting at gallery openings, coordinating and editing press release and exhibition mailings, creating and maintaining the inventory of the artists catalogues, and photographing artists' work. The intern should be very familiar with Apple Computer Platforms, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
