HeyCurated is a kid-centered, experience-focused event and education company. We are looking for self-motivated independent teaching artists to develop and lead afterschool classes for elementary school kids in our Fall 2023 session, starting in September! We are working with two private schools in the Brentwood/Bel-Air area to host classes Monday–Thursday from 2:45–4:30pm. This is a freelance teaching position suitable for performers, artists, and educators looking for part-time, afternoon work.
We are looking for a LEAD Gymnastics teacher for Wednesday & Thursday, and ASSISTANT teachers for Gymnastics classes, a Harry Potter club, and an On-Camera Acting class Monday-Thursday.
– Describe your experience working with children. What environment(s) have you worked with children in (e.g. teaching, childcare/babysitting, camps)? What age groups?
– Are you able to commit to teaching classes at least 1 weekday afternoon a week, September through December?
– Are you able to provide proof of vaccination as required by schools?
