Paid Internship: $16.90 per hour for 400-hour internship.
15 hours per week June 2023 through January 2024.

DESCRIPTION

Tierra is seeking an Arts Management Intern to support career artists who have developmental disabilities, to develop and maintain art portfolios. Portfolios, along with a consistent review process, allow artists to develop their skills, as well as receive formal critique and mentoring regarding their technique and work habits. The intern will use retrieval systems (used globally in museums, galleries, and art agencies) as they review physical art inventory, take high-quality photos, document each image, and save and upload the photos to the archival system. Through this project, the intern will advance Tierra’s mission, vision, and values by expanding the impact of the artists’ work, appreciating the talent of career artists, and making it possible for people to appreciate the individual contributions of these artists, regardless of the fact that they have disabilities. This position will work approximately 15 hours per week from June 2023 through January 2024.
