Esperanza Community Housing
Esperanza Community Housing is pleased to invite local artists to submit artwork for its upcoming GALA X SEE exhibition at the Mercado La Paloma. The exhibition is paired with Esperanza’s annual gala, Dancing Under the Stars, which seeks to showcase Esperanza’s community development work, celebrate leaders of arts and culture, and spotlight artists from our community through the Gala x See art exhibition.
Esperanza is a social justice organization that accomplishes comprehensive community development in South Los Angeles through six core programs: affordable housing, health equity, economic development, environmental justice, arts and culture, and public policy advocacy. The Mercado la Paloma is a place-based cultural hub of South Los Angeles, home to critically acclaimed restaurants and artisans. Esperanza’s Dancing Under the Stars Gala is our annual fundraising event wherein we celebrate our work and honor champions of social justice in South Los Angeles. Hundreds of attendees will join us on the evening of September 22nd to celebrate our work, enjoy a culinary experience and tasting menu of all Mercado restaurants, listen and dance to live music, and experience an interactive art exhibition.
