Las Fotos Project was launched to provide opportunities for those who are both systemically and socially silenced to make themselves heard and, in the process, advocate for social change and create their own pathways to successful, creative futures. Through free photography classes and creative workforce development, Las Fotos Project advances its mission is to elevate the voices of teenage girls and gender-expansive youth through photography and mentoring, empowering them to channel their creativity for the benefit of themselves, their community and future careers.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grants Manager to oversee the grant application process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing grant applications, creating budgets, and managing the entire grant cycle. The Grants Manager will work closely with the Development Director, Executive Director, and Social Enterprise Director to identify and secure grant funding opportunities that align with the organization’s strategic priorities. This role will report directly to the Development Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and secure funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
  • Develop grant proposals, including project descriptions, budgets, and narratives that meet the requirements of grantors.
  • Ensure compliance with grant regulations and requirements, including reporting and documentation.
  • Lead in submitting relevant grant proposals on behalf of the organization.
  • Collaborate with executive staff and development team to ensure successful grant program implementation and adherence to grant guidelines.
  • Monitor grant progress, manage budgets, and provide regular reports to senior leadership and funders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate grant records, grant contact information, and grant timelines on relevant platforms.
  • Maintain relationships with funders and with fiscal sponsor grants team.
  • Stay current on best practices in grant management, funding opportunities, and grant reporting requirements.
  • Attend relevant meetings and training sessions related to grant implementation and tracking processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, non-profit management, or public administration or relevant life experience.
  • Preferred two years of experience in grant management, including grant writing and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully securing and managing grants from federal, state, and/or private sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex grant information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of grant regulations and requirements, and experience in managing grant budgets and reporting.
  • Experience with software programs and databases that support grant management desired, specifically knowledge of Asana and Airtable.

Salary: $30/hour
