Los Angeles Performance Practice is looking for a new member of our team to perform a variety of administrative and creative tasks supporting our local programs for artists. The Programs Associate will provide specific project management and support for LAPP’s participation as an Administering Organization for the California Arts Council, focused on the Individual Artists Fellowship program for Los Angeles County, a program that recognizes, uplifts, and celebrates the excellence of California artists practicing any art form.

The program will support artists at key moments in their careers, elevating their capacity for continued contribution to the field and our state. Fellowship grants support individual artistic practice through unrestricted funding. The Individual Artists Fellowship program is intended to support a broad spectrum of artists working in all disciplines, from diverse geographies and communities of all sizes across the state of California.

The ideal Programs Associate is bilingual, and is fluent and comfortable writing and communicating using Spanish. They will report to the Producer + Director of Programs, and will work collaboratively with all members of the team.

The ideal candidate has an interest in arts administration and a variety of artistic disciplines, and will be excited to work on program design, community engagement and outreach, and evaluation. Alongside programmatic and administrative work, the Programs Associate will proactively develop relationships with Los Angeles-based artists across disciplines in order to share program opportunities.
