Manager, Corporate and Foundations Relations
As a member of the Hammer's Development Team, the Manager, Corporate and Foundation Relations participates in the design and oversees implementation of a robust giving program for corporations, foundations and government entities in support of the annual fund, exhibitions and education programs, special initiatives, and major in-kind gifts.
In consultation with the Chief Advancement Officer, Director, Development and other Museum staff, the Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations researches current and potential funders, develops proposals and other funder materials, presents concrete plans for achieving institutional and funder goals, manages the cultivation and solicitation of new and renewing funders, work with all Museum departments to provide appropriate acknowledgment of funding, and oversees reports to funders.
The position also takes the lead on corporate sponsorships, including in-kind partnerships, and involves the Chief Communications Officer on sponsorship solicitation and fulfillment to ensure an integrated strategy for corporate partners.
