The Manager, Individual Giving provides leadership to and supports all aspects of the Hammer's Support Groups and Membership Giving programs, with a focus on donors capable of making restricted and unrestricted annual gifts up to $25,000.
This position's efforts result in $1 million of revenue year. This position manages the Hammer Collective (Young Collectors Group), Upper Level Members and the KAMP (Annual Fundraiser).
The Manager is responsible for conceptualizing and implementing membership programs and annual giving campaigns. Executes and manages a fundraising plan that identifies new member/donor prospects and develops strategies for acquisition, renewal, and upgrades to reach annual financial as well as household goals. Maintains pipelines, generates correspondence, conducts research, coordinates meetings and events, and communicates with third-parties. This position will also be responsible for tracking pledges and gifts and acting as a liaison with other departments (communications, curatorial, operations, etc.) as their activities relate to the annual giving and membership. Additionally responsible for fulfillment of member benefits and services as well as oversees records and entries in Raiser's Edge database.
The Manager, Individual Giving maintains a sophisticated and nuanced understanding of current and prospective donors' and members' interests, enthusiasms, connections, and relationships with the Hammer, in order to advance successful engagement, cultivation, and stewardship strategies across the institution. Also utilizes Raiser's Edge database and other analytical tools to develop data driven understanding of members and donors and identify strategic opportunities for growth and enhancement of the programs.
