The Opportunity

We are currently looking for Museum Tour Guides to join our team at the new pop-up museum ChEAT Day Land on a Part-Time basis. We don't just want you to guide attendees through the showroom, rather we want you to tell a story and be part of their fun experience. The ideal candidate(s) will be energetic, patient, and inspire their crew to enjoy the interactive experience. You will be responsible for providing information, answering questions about the museum while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Museum Tour Guide include:

  • Maintaining an up to date working knowledge and ChEAT Meals knowledge of ChEAT Day Land
  • Learning and presenting the script for all tours
  • Opening and closing attraction areas
  • Greeting patrons in a warm and friendly manner, acknowledging them upon arrival
  • Fulfilling attraction attendant duties when not leading tours
  • Answering questions about ChEAT Day Land, tours and guided tours
  • Interacting with crew members in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
  • Listening and responding to patrons’ inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Performing attraction attendant duties when not conducting tours
  • Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events


Job Requirements

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to learn and retain the museum’s technical information
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to move throughout ChEAT Day Land (standing, walking) for extended periods of time
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos
  • Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
