ACTIVATE Advocacy Leadership Academy applications are due this Friday, September 12. If you have not yet applied, make sure to do so by the end of this week to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to make a difference in education in Los Angeles County. 

ACTIVATE is a five-session program designed to provide parents and advocates in Los Angeles with dynamic leadership training to activate arts education in your community. Program benefits include:

  • Opportunity to attend 5 informative sessions with top leaders in education, advocacy, communication, and policy. 
  • Individual coaching to develop a spring arts education initiative in your community. 
  • Monthly alumni networking and opportunities for collaboration with education advocates colleagues. 
  • Opportunity to host a meeting with district leadership (school board and superintendent), Arts for LA, and Arts for All to discuss arts education for students in your community. 
  • Recognition as an arts education advocacy leader in Arts for LA’s regional initiatives.

The program will feature diverse speakers who will advance your knowledge of the education landscape, giving participants access to ongoing professional development and networking opportunities.
