Arts for LA Hosting Monthly Members' Meetings
Starting this January, Arts for LA will host monthly Members' Meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Meetings will rotate among the five County Supervisorial districts. Members will receive email invitations to both of the semiannual meetings located in their district.
The Arts for LA staff is looking forward to a knowledge exchange with individual and organizational members. Each brown-bag lunch meeting will begin promptly at noon with a very brief overview of policy issues and advocacy activities affecting the Supervisorial district. At 12:15, the group will engage in a Focused Conversation based on what attendees identify as their top policy-related or community challenge. The conversation will end by 1pm, leaving half an hour of networking time to connect with others from the community.
To become an Arts for LA member, please visit artsforla.org/become-member. Organizational members are listed here, and individual members are listed here.
Meetings will be hosted by member organizations in each district, including the Autry National Center of the American West, California African American Museum, Center for the Arts Eagle Rock, Inner-City Arts, McGroarty Arts Center and SPARC (Social and Public Art Resource Center).
