Candidate forums give voters an opportunity learn about candidates’ positions directly from the candidates themselves. Arts for LA encourages arts-minded voters to participate in their local forums to ensure candidates running for city and school board seats have an opportunity to discuss their support for our lively arts and culture communities.

If you want to participate but want help forming your question, Arts for LA has created a helpful Candidate Survey Forum Guide on our website, where we’re listing as many candidate forums as we can find to help connect you with your neighbors running for elected office. We've included sample questions here to help you get the conversation started.
