Burbank Primary Election Results
With 9,869 votes cast last week in the Burbank City Council election, candidate Bob Frutos captured a solid majority with 5,262 votes and has been elected to a seat on the council.
Four challengers remain in the race vying for the last two open seats: David Nos, Dave Golonski, Jess A. Talamantes, and David Gordon.
The last-place finisher, Juan Guillen Jr, has been eliminated from the April 9 election.
Board of Education candidates advancing to the April 9 election include Larry Applebaum, Steve Ferguson, Char Tabet, and David Dobson. With only two seats open, candidate Armon Aghakhanian, with the lowest number of votes in the primary election, has been eliminated.
