District 1's Kim Kenne handily retained her seat with nearly 72% of the vote, while Elizabeth Pomery in District 5 and Scott Phelps in District 7 also prevailed with over 60% of the votes each.  Both Pomery and Phelps participated in this spring's Arts & Culture Candidate Surveys for Pasadena USD.

In District 3, a crowded race of four challenges for the open seat proved too much work for top-finishing candidate Ruben Hueso, who narrowly missed outright election by only one-tenght of a percentage point.  Instead, he'll face off against number two finisher Tyron Hampton Jr in the May 21 General Election.
