LAUSD's Deasy, Galatzan in Town Hall, 1/25

LAUSD logoThis Wednesday, January 25th, Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent John Deasy and Board Member Tamar Galatzan will participate in a town hall organized by LA's Daily News.  Advocates are encouraged to attend and provide public testimony on the importance of arts education to a complete 21st-century education.  According to UCLA Insitute for Democracy, Education and Access's Just Schools California, "Local parents, students, teachers and residents will be able to ask a range of questions on education and school budgeting during the forum to be moderated by Daily News columnist and radio host Doug McIntyre."

The discussion will take place at 6:30pm on Wednesday, January 25th, at El Camino Real Charter School's Grieb Theater, 5440 Valley Circle Blvd., Woodland Hills.  For additional information, please see the Daily News' story about the town hall event.
