Advocacy Team (if applicable):

VoteArts for LA is surveying candidates for Long Beach City Council, Culver City City Council and Long Beach Unified School District prior to the April 10th, 2012 local elections.  All candidates have been contacted and encouraged to complete a brief survey.  Results will be posted at ArtsforLA.org/spring-2012-candidate-surveys as they are submitted.  Candidate surveys provide an opportunity for candidates to articulate their awareness and support of arts & culture and arts education.

Twice a year, Arts for LA surveys candidates for election in Arts Advocacy Team cities and school districts.  Results of the surveys are posted on ArtsforLA.org and disseminated to Arts for LA's 20,000 email subscribers.  Arts for LA recently surveyed candidates in the Fall 2011 and Spring 2011 elections.

If you notice that a specific candidate has not completed the survey and you are interested in his or her responses, we encourage you to contact the candidate and urge him or her to complete the survey. All candidates' contact information is accessible via the Los Angeles County Registrar and Recorder's office.  Click here to find & contact candidates in your district.
