An exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded individual who is passionate about art, culture and community. We are a contemporary art gallery, originally from Hong Kong, opening a second home in Los Angeles committed to featuring radical and influential artists from around the world.

We are seeking a part time administrative assistant

In addition to being a Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, we also house our gallery shop. While our Administrative assistant duties will largely support gallery operations, assistance during exhibitions and shop activities may also be occasionally required.  Applicants must be detail-oriented, able to both collaborate and work independently and can multi-task. Preferably communications, art, art history or arts administration majors.



  • Duties will include but not necessarily be limited to:
  • Assist in managing day-to-day gallery operations, exhibitions, shop events and opening/closing receptions
  • support overall office needs
  • Answering email requests for general information
  • Update website, email list, social media platforms and digital archive
  • Handling external or internal communication or management systems
  • Maintain communications and database of current and potential community and commercial partners
  • Assist research, communication and coordination of artists and their artworks
  • Assist with coordination of installation and light art handling
  • Assist in generating and posting promotional content in the form of photography and video clips of events, artist studio visits and interviews



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong writing skills
  • Outstanding internet/ research skills
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Interest and basic knowledge of arts publications a plus


Especially welcomed but not required

  • Communications background
  • Knowledge of audio and/or video production
  • Knowledge of Photoshop
  • Photography skills
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Basic understanding of social media tools + channels
  • Knowledge of CisionPoint a plus
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and Box (or compatible cloud filing systems) a plus


Time commitment

16-24 hours per week

Indirect benefits are the opportunities to connect with local and the greater arts community, meeting artists, gallerists, curators and press.  Also, the candidate may have the opportunity to collaborate creatively with the shop
