EDWARD GOLDMAN, art critic, art advisor, journalist and host of "ART TALK" on KCRW 89.9 FM, NPR radio station, seeks a PART TIME ASSISTANT (12-15 hours/week on Monday,Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) at his home office in SANTA MONICA.
Must have 1 year or more of administrative/secretarial work experience. Knowledge of LA art scene and art history is a must.
Must be well organized and have excellent correspondence, grammar, and editing skills. Must also be familiar with social media. Photo editing skills are also required.
Job also involves some light bookkeeping.
Will use MAC computer: Word, FileMaker, Excel, Quicken, Pixlmator and WordPress software.
Only interested in meeting candidates who can at least give a ONE YEAR COMMITMENT beginning immediately. Preferably live on or near the Westside.
Starting salary at $13/hour, with a raise to $14 at the end of 1 year.
