2017 Annual All Women Artist Group Exhibition
Announcing an Open Call to women artists
About Red Hot Wicked:
Studio C Gallery is looking for women artists, whose work is inspired by erotica. Erotica is often depicted by a male version. We are not interested in pornography.
We are seeking out work that is a visual expression of sensuality, the lover… inamorata. In the spirit of Saint Valentine’s Day, inspiration can come in symbols, such as keys, winged figures or doves etc. Whatever summons your muse, Aphrodite. Bring on the fantasy Ladies! Scorch us!
About Studio C Gallery
Studio C Gallery is dedicated to exhibiting the work of women artists. We are committed in bringing attention to the feminine characteristics and trademark of art making. Studio C Gallery creates a space for women to flourish by producing several group shows and two solo shows per year. The gallery presents exhibitions that refer to a discipline or a theme.
Our gallery is located at the Santa Fe Art Colony, in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
This exhibit has no predetermined expectation for type, style, or media of work to be considered or selected. Submissions can range from the most traditional to the most conceptual or experimental. The only criterion is that the work interprets the theme of the show, the feminine erotic.
All mediums are accepted, including video and installation.
Red Hot Wicked is open to all women artists that reside in the Los Angeles area, and beyond our borders. Yes… we accept submissions outside CA and the USA.
All entries must represent original works of art. We do not accept Giclees or high resolution prints

All entries are submitted to a jury comprised of women artists and art professionals. Each year new jurors are selected for the process. Studio C Gallery will reveal the list of jurors at a later date, unless the jurors wish to remain anonymous.
