The Residency Project @ 880
The Residency Project @ 880 is now accepting proposals for our Summer 2019 Parent and Child Residency Program.
WHO SHOULD APPLY: Mid-career and established professional artists with a child between the ages of 6 and 12.
880 serves as a space for creative research and practice, collective living, and arts based learning. Situated in Pasadena, California, 880 provides ample space to live and work with access to the thriving arts scenes, diverse cultural landscape, and natural resources of Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The Parent and Child Residency Program provides opportunities for:
- a professional artist-in-residence to work with the assistance of a dedicated fellow, knowing their child is also engaged in fun, educational activities;
- the child-in-residence to engage in *STEAMS-based learning activities with residency staff and a dedicated fellow;
- and downtime during which the artist-in-residence can bond one-on-one with their child.

PROPOSAL DEADLINE: March 15, 2019
Please note: This program does not accept applicants who are currently enrolled in a degree program (unless at the PhD level). Degree-seeking students are encouraged to check out our Fellowship Programs.
RESIDENCY PERIOD: One week between early-June and late-September
