The Sand City Art Committee in conjunction with Celadon Arts is seeking artists to participate in a juried art exhibition that will be on view August 26- September 5, 2016.
Opening and artist reception for the show will be in conjunction with Sand City’s famous West End Celebration on the weekend of August 26- 28.
This year’s juror is Gail Enns.

ELIGIBILITY
All submitting artists must 18 years old or over and reside in California.
We are accepting works in three categories:
1) Two Dimensional- Painting, drawing, photography, prints, mixed media.
2) Three Dimensional- sculpture and installations (any medium).
3) Time- based- Performance art, video, film, digital arts and new media.
JUROR
Gail F. Enns has over thirty years of experience as a curator and gallery owner. She is currently Owner and Director of the Green Chalk Contemporary gallery in Monterey, California. In addition, since 1989 she has served as the Director of Celadon Arts – a 501c3 arts management organization – producing exhibitions in galleries, museums and art spaces in Washington, DC, New York City, Amstelveen, Netherlands, and most recently in Monterey, California. From 1982 to 2000, she owned Anton Gallery in Washington, DC. Enns moved from Washington, D.C. to the Monterey Peninsula in 2003.

Awards for each category (2D, 3D, time-based):
First Place $ 400.00
Second Place $ 200.00
Third Place $ 100.00
Awards will be given at the opening reception August 26, 2016.
Artists do not have to be present to receive awards.
