DESCRIPTION
Garry Marshall Theatre, a 130-seat Equity nonprofit theatre in Burbank/Toluca Lake, is seeking a part-time Social Media Consultant to create and implement a marketing plan through various social media platforms. Job description includes:
- Create compelling social content for all of the theatre’s social media channels
- Generate ideas for campaigns and posts
- Manage and update the social media calendar
- Photograph, video, and edit for channel-specific requirements for content
- Maintain brand standards and storytelling guidelines across digital content and sites
- Proof and fact-check post content
- Report on distribution and outreach of theatre’s social media campaigns
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor degree or equivalent, some experience in the performing arts, and skills in creating content, writing copy, photography and video content. This position collaborates with the theatre’s Marketing Consultant and Artistic Directors. Schedule may vary depending on programming and events. Fee is $100 per week, with a 5-10 hour per week expectation.
