Cinetic is a full-service talent management firm that specializes in film and television production, financing, sales, and distribution, as well as strategic and corporate advisory work. The firm represents an exceptional roster of artists and companies, and our projects include LAST FLAG FLYING, BEFORE MIDNIGHT, JANE, WONDERSTRUCK, JIM & ANDY, BOYHOOD, and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, among many others. The firm maintains offices in New York and Los Angeles.
Applicants for our Spring 2018 internship should be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced and professional environment. Attention to detail as well as strong verbal communication and analytical writing skills are essential. Applicants should possess organizational skills and general office and computer skills, including computer familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Ideal candidates will be energetic and have a strong work ethic and basic familiarity with the film business and contemporary independent cinema. Prior internship experience in the film industry is a plus. We make an effort to expose interns to all potential areas of interest during their time at Cinetic.
Internship:
Intern duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: evaluating project submissions for consideration, submission coverage, tracking and researching projects in various stages of development/production, general administrative assistance, performing database entry, business development research, and office maintenance.
Hours/Pay:
We require a minimum time commitment of 2 days per week, generally during
the hours of 10:00am-6:00pm. An internship term is generally a school semester/summer semester. There is a $10/hour compensation. Enrollment at least part-time in an educational program is a plus.
