Arts for LA is pleased to present Arts Day 2012 in collaboration with the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. The purpose of Arts Day 2012 is to foster dialogue among civic leaders who believe that a vibrant arts and cultural ecology is good for the social, civic and economic vibrancy of the City.

The City of Los Angeles is holding public Regional Budget Hearings to provide opportunities for citizens to express their budget priorities for the upcoming fiscal year. The City Council's Budget and Finance Committee will be in attendance, along with representatives from many city departments. Arts advocates are encouraged to attend, and ask questions about the City's ongoing commitment to arts and culture.
