As students process the trauma of the pandemic, the arts are not a luxury; they are an essential tool for recovery. Arts education not only decreases feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation but also positively impacts all-around academic performance. Now is the time to communicate with your school district leadership about the need to include the arts in your Local Control & Accountability Plan.
Join Arts for LA, Create CA and the California Alliance for Arts Education for this interactive session focusing on concrete tools and next steps to increase arts education offerings in your school district.

Want to make sure your community is informed? All you need is 8 or more people interested in learning about how the issues appearing on the ballot in November 2020 will impact the creative sector and movement for equitable arts education.
An organizer from Arts for LA will conduct a digital training specifically tailored for your community and aimed at giving you and your fellow advocates the concrete tools & strategies necessary to take action to ensure your local candidates are committed arts ed champions.
Digital community trainings are highly flexible in terms of time, audience (students, educators, parents), and location.
