The Hidden History Museum, located in the Jefferson Park area of Los Angeles, is seeking a dependable and highly motivated Museum Assistant to join our team. We are a cultural institution dedicated to preserving and presenting Black history, and we are looking for a reliable professional who is passionate about providing an excellent visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and check in museum guests, ensuring a positive and engaging entry experience.

Manage retail merchandise sales, process transactions, and maintain the presentation of the retail area.

Assist with the coordination, setup, and execution of special events hosted at the venue.

Provide general support to daily operations to keep the museum running smoothly.

Requirements:

Highly dependable, punctual, and communicative.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

A genuine interest in history, arts, and cultural preservation is highly preferred.

Ability to commit to the set part-time schedule on a long-term basis.

Schedule: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Salary: $20 hourly, 20 hours per week.
