Ravenhill Studio is seeking a Design Specialist to help bring Studio design projects from idea to reality. We’re looking for someone passionate about industrial and graphic design, with strong photography and photo editing skills. Working with the Founder and Design Director, the Design Specialist helps bring the Studio’s new designs to market through CAD modeling, physical prototyping and the creation of marketing and collateral assets. In addition to design responsibilities the Design Specialist helps draw and construct the build-out of our physical space

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

– Product Development, and Execution
– Photography and Asset Creation
– Client Facing Collateral
– CAD Modeling
– Physical Prototyping

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

– Supportive research and development
– Vendor research for prototyping and manufacturing
– Construction of our physical space

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of work/school experience in the field of design (or a related field)

– Fully proficient in one or more of the following CAD programs: Rhino, Sketchup, Solidworks
Fully proficient in the Adobe Suite
– Photography experience
– An innate passion for design
– Strong visual communication skills
– Familiarity with design language, heritage, and market
– Proficiency in crafting physical models
– Ability to communicate via hand sketching

LOCATION

– Must be based in Los Angeles
– Must have reliable transportation

Salary: $28 – $32 hourly; $60,000 – $68,000 annually / commensurate with experience
