Theatre West is seeking a mid-level grant writer to contract for a maximum of 20 hours a week!
Join the longest continually operating nonprofit theatre in Los Angeles and help us work with funders to keep operations stable. The primary duty of the grant writer is to research and draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements from government and non-government agencies.
Theatre West works with a variety of funders across the county and the globe, and we’re looking to bring someone on to keep those relationships and apply for grants! This includes collating and implementing notes by the grant committee and coordinating eligibility periods year-on-year. The grant writer must study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the organization to adequately draft grant proposals.
Salary: $25 – $50, hourly, depending on experience.
