HeyCurated is a kid-centered, experience-focused event and education company. We are looking for lead & assistant camp counselors for arts & science themed camps for elementary school students, running mid-July through early-August.
Location & Hours:
– Each camp session runs for 4-5 days, and take place either in the morning or early-afternoon. Counselors must be able to travel to schools and commit to entire camp sessions.
Qualifications
– Reliable and communicative
– Ability to travel to schools each day
– Able to commit to scheduled camp sessions (4-5 weekday sessions).
– Experience working with children, in childcare, education, or camp settings: 2 years (Required)
– High school degree or equivalent (Required)
Responsibilities
– Lead counselors are responsible for reviewing and implementing daily activity itineraries. All daily activity itineraries and materials are provided.
– Assistant counselors are responsible for keeping campers focused and engaged in activities
– Set-up, clean up, prep and implementation of provided activities
– Correspondence with HeyCurated programming team regarding camp progress reports
Salary: $20-$25/hour
