Notetaker

Support a day of free public events organized by a coalition of 50+ arts organizations!

Now Be Here is seeking Notetakers to attend the Community Conversations portion of the Now Let’s Talk, Los Angeles programming, taking place on May 31, 2026 at Occidental College.

The Notetaker role is essential in helping us capture and share the ideas that emerge from these sessions. Each conversation is designed as a relaxed, phone down, small-group dialogue (approximately 20 participants) outside under the olive trees in the main quad. We’re hoping to create a space for open dialogue, connection, and exchange among artists. Our goal in documenting these conversations is to reflect the range of perspectives, themes, and questions that arise—rather than to produce a transcript or attribute comments to specific individuals.

A facilitator from the partner organization will be guiding the conversation. Your role is to observe and capture rather than participate. The sessions will not be recorded, and your notes will serve as the primary record to be shared after the event.

The facilitated conversations will take place from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Occidental College (1600 Campus Road, Los Angeles, CA 90041). We can offer an honorarium of $50.00.
