Seasonal Puppeteers & Stagehands

We are seeking seasonal puppeteers and stagehands for our upcoming holiday season, September through January. Puppeteers are the central performers of our shows and are responsible for continuing our 60-plus-year legacy of expert puppetry and performance. From the smallest ladybug puppet to a 30-pound Santa Claus, our puppeteers give life to our marionettes and inspire memories for generations of Angelenos, visitors, and their families. Our stagehands, meanwhile, help raise and lower backdrops during shows, set props, and manage tech issues with relatively simple theater tech as needed. These are fast-paced roles with a quick learning curve, but no experience is needed to apply — part of the BBMT legacy is passing down the knowledge of marionette puppeteering and stagehanding from generation to generation!

Salary: $19/hourly
