The Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts at Pepperdine University invites applications for a full-time Theatre Operations Manager. Pepperdine University is a private Christian university in Malibu, California where “students are strengthened for lives of purpose, service, and leadership.” The Center for the Arts includes the 450-seat Smothers Theatre, the 118-seat Raitt Recital Hall, the 100-seat Lindhurst Theatre, and the Frederick R. The Theatre Operations Manager supervises operations for the Center for the Arts, managing front of house aspects of approximately 200 events per year. Responsibilities include:

• Supervise front of house at all major performances and assign student staff for all performances. Oversee box office, concessions, parking, and merchandising for each event. Hire and train student ushers and house managers.
• Manage off and on campus rental groups including responding to all inquiries, scheduling, confirming dates, preparing estimates, preparing contracts, and managing deposits. Maintain rental budgets.
• Maintain schedules for Smothers Theatre, Raitt Recital Hall, and Lindhurst Theatre. Respond to all on campus and off campus requests for facility use.

Salary: $66,560–$68,000 annually.
